VKSWD is located in central Arkansas approximately 8 miles northeast of Little Rock. The facility encompasses 35 acres of beautiful wooded and open fields that provides an ideal environment for training police K9 teams. The on-site training buildings, vehicles and new outdoor covered training arena, make it possible to conduct numerous training scenarios for K9 teams.
A classroom, break area and equipment supply room provides handlers with a unique and instructional training experience.
The kennel has nearby access to numerous locations for use in real-life training scenarios. Warehouses, car lots, office buildings, city parks and schools are available to get you and your k-9 ready for the streets. Our unique location provides unlimited opportunities to challenge and strengthen both K9 and Handler
The facility is conveniently located near lodging, restaurants and a variety of entertainment.
